Well it took me a while, but here's what I think i'm going with... technically it's a gift for Christmas 2009!

I don't post in here much but I have to comment on this. That is a beautiful image Klaus! The framing and composition of the image. The color scheme and the reflection on the Enterprise. Everything is just prefect.

Perhaps, but Klaus's image is a little more creative and original.

No offense, I like yours for the sheer fun and metatextual aspects it brings.

But Klaus's image makes me really feel like I could see that very scene under my 2009 Christmas tree.

(Though if Shatner is in this film, I'll have it WAY before Christmas of '09)

I don't think BoxWhatBox implied his was the better image or more likely to win this lil' monthly contest. I think he meant the odds are more likely that he'd find a real shuttle-pod as a gift from Santa than a Star Trek movie ever winning an Oscar for best picture.

When I said what I said ... it was a pun.
