Dec 2015 Art Challenge: It is very cold in space. So bring a blanket.

With Fall fading and Summer a distant memory, the cold weather could soon be upon us, if not already. Brrrrr.

This month, create an art piece that uses icy cold as the central theme. Can include "warmth" combating the cold. Can be any subject matter, any format, as long as it is colder than a witch's t...well you know.

After all, Winter is coming. So, let it be...frozen.

So, did I kill the contest with my subject matter? I tried to make it broad enough to include just about anything. Maybe that was an error?

I think the holiday madness and the unseasonably warm weather have conspired to distract folks from the concept.

I have received only 1 entry for this challenge, so I'm in a quandary about the poll - do folks want to extend the current challenge through January, now that the weather seems to be more appropriate to the challenge and maybe more inspiring, or do you want to modify the challenge in any way? I am your humble, hunny-eating servant in these matters.

I vote for extending it to the end of January. Many people (like myself) were likely busy with family over the holidays, and couldn't get anything together for the challenge.

...well it's kind of a hollow victory lol, and we do have precedent for doing so before during an August contest when everyone was on vacation. Maybe I'll tweak mine a little and add an extra person and some gear to match the ep better.
