Death to next movie villain.

In all seriousness, I think it would be great if the next villain actually succeeds and gets away with it. We didn't have that since Empire Strikes Back.

Didn't Nero do that? Yeah he wanted to blow up Earth and the Federation, but first and foremost was getting revenge on Spock. And he got two Spocks to watch their world die at the same time! Double win! And one of them saw their mother die just before! Triple win!

Didn't get that vibe. They were all cheery and happy at the end like nothing happened anyway.

During battle, thrown into a pit with Klingon targhs with laser beams attached to their heads. After being fried and cut up, the villain survives by having his mind transfered into a computer, with body being held in stasis in a transporter loop. He returns for a sequel.

This!

Dr. Evil is that you?

Or death by chocolate (with mint frosting) ! :)

Or death by turning into white dehydrated powder like the crew of the USS Exeter did in TOS episode "The Omega Glory".

Navigator NCC-2120 USS Entente
/\

See Doctor Who episode "Human Nature / The Family of Blood" for an exemplary case of some really terrible and scary villain non-deaths. That would totally work.

How's about having to pay a hefty fine, then having to do a week's worth of community service.
Proceded of course by years of court proceedings, motions, alternate jurist replacements, appeals, dna evidence, maybe a car chase, ...

...find him not guilty. Starfleet can sue for damages which would cause him to sell all his stuff, but remarkably still have enough money for numerous trips to Risa. Then have him arrested on a different charge years later and give him an unusually long sentence.

^Or more likely just a slap on the wrist and a trip to Disneyworld given what we see of the Federation's justice system, where the punishment for murdering someone was being sent to your room!:wtf:
