death in winter just finished

are those worht reading. I know they are all avialbe on the nook I am jsut curiuse if there worth buying?

^ Sort of, but there are a lot of much better novels, and even anthologies. Don't make them a priority.

I was just curuis and what about the myriad and mirror univveres anthologies.
How are they?

bookaolich need more to read go threw two books a week.

I enjoyed Death in Winter, can't really explain why, I just did. Then again, I also loved the Stargazer novels. :)

haven't read those yet . but I will and there all on the nook man's second greatest invention next to the dvr.

I enjoyed the Myriad and Mirror Universe anthologies for the most part, but it's not for those who don't really like the Mirror universe.

I'm clearly in the minority, but "Death In Winter" is my favourite post-Nemesis/relaunch TNG novel.

1) MJF is just a better writer than most of the others, IMHO

2) It's actually original and isn't just a tired, tired, boring, rehashed, tired, crummy "Hey, it's the Borg! When in doubt, rely on this bunch of once-menacing, now comical boogeymen!!" plotline.

Seriously, I can't get across how much the relaunch disappointed me by doing the Borg AGAIN. "Death In Winter" showed such promise, only for the relaunch to quickly descend into farce.

to Quote the miz from wwe "realy, realy ? realy I don't care what you think!"
I love the borg I am looking forward to resistance when I get to it . next week most likely half way threw articles of the federation right now and I like that so far.

Not sure I'd go quite that far, but it's not an entirely unfair observation.

I probably did enjoy it more than Destiny.

I love them. But I'm a big MU and general alternate universe fan, so that's really not surprising.

so if you like alernat history I'd like these spin off's . well that's cool I love alternate history my favorite aurthor's are harry turtledove and s.m. stirling. I would love to see these guys do a star trek novel I know harry's done a conan novel. and I've read his world at war series and then there was that voyager two parter with the herogen using the holodeck to recreate world war 2 . now we have a khan trilogy how about one dealing with col.green or world war 3.

where does do comets dream? fit in with the reluanch it has enterprise d on the cover,

You may change your mind when you read "Before Dishonour", assuming you're doing them in order.

All right, each person has a right to his or her or it's point of view to a book.
But, my question was were does do comets dream ? fit in with the reluanch cause I may have to back track a little. I know I will have to get the genisis series then I think slings and arrows and then the a time to series . I know that much from being half way threw articles of the federation .

I had read a lot of criticism of DiW before I actually read it for myself. I enjoyed it. I liked the focus on Crusher, I thought Sela was well utilized, and the Kevratas plague was well depicted. I don't get all the criticism for it. I thought it was a nice opening for the TNG Relaunch.

What really pissed me off about this novel was Greyhorse. He's forgotten about by the end of the novel if I'm remembering correctly. He has absolutely no resolution.

I thought so also finaly someone agree with me it is a good book.:bolian:
