Deadlock

Am sure this one has been brought up many times but I have just watched it on Netflix and dam some things really annoy me. Harry Kim is dead, there is a floating corpse in space and not to mention a body to bury in terms of Naomi Wildman and everyone seems to not give it a second thought. Also an entire crew never made it home and died so even more

Poor Harry & Baby Wildman :(

Its a good episode still but what's your take on this episode and the twist on Harry & Naomi?

During first run, I was quite happy to see Harry as a casualty. But then elation turned to sorrow to learn we weren't rid of him.

It has one of the best closing lines in the franchise.

I liked the shake up and the surprising end except that temporary excitement about the twist made me go...now how they going to get home with such an F'd up ship? Answer: All hail the magic reset button!

I was bummed Harry lived. But more bummed they didn't hit self destruct and toss a few kits through to justify magical ship restoration or a few crew members and just say "congrats you have a twin.' Loo might as well-the episode was silly as it was.

It was watchable for me despite the flaws. I just look at it like an alternative universe episode. A what if story...

Magical ship restoration and the reset button were the writers' go-to gimmick. I didn't like how casual the characters were about replacing two colleagues with duplicates, which Harry and Sam Wildman totally were.

As for Harry winning Lazarus of the Week again, let me quote SF Debris: poor, dumb Harry. He's Voyager's whipping boy.
