Deadliest Warrior Trek-verse versus Deadliest Warrior Star Wars verse

Dingo

Captain
Captain
I once wrote a Deadliest Warrior thread for various Trek species fighting each other and just had an interesting thought. What if Trek warriors fought against Star Wars warriors without the advantage of transporters for the Trek-side.

I thought of an interesting challenge: Jem'Hadar versus Mandalorians.

For short range weapons I gave the Mandalorians the advantage because the wrist blades that Jango Fett showed in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones can be an unexpected surprise for Jem'Hadar fighting at close ranges. (What the Jem'Hadar might think is a punch is actually a bladed fist).

For medium range I gave the Jem'Hadar an advantage with their disruptor rifles. It would be interesting to see if Mandalorian armor can withstand it but I imagine Jem'Hadar disruptor blasts are quite devastating.

Long range I gave the Mandalorians with everything from the Verpine sniper rifles of Karen Traviss' books to the missile and rocket systems.

Special weapons is decidedly the Mandalorians with the saber darts that Jango Fett used in Attack of the Clones.

Winner: I would argue the Mandalorians' armor and built in sensory systems enable them to detect and decisively engage shrouded Jem'Hadar and defeat them rather decisively.

Princess Leia Versus Counselor Troi.

Weapons? Handfuls of chocolate pudding.

Han Solo versus Tom Paris? Any takers for winners there?

Gul Dukat Vs Emperor Palpatine

Monologues at ten paces.

Gul Dukat Vs Emperor Palpatine

Monologues at ten paces.

Kosst Dukat and cackling Palpatine should just throw energy bolts at each other insanely while Damar and Vader share a glass of kanar off to one side.

Re: Deadliest Warrior Trek-verse versus Deadliest Warrior Star Wars ve

Damar and Vader. Interesting conversation. Vader grousing on about Padme while Damar grouses on about numerous extramarital affairs...I forsee a fight.

Re: Deadliest Warrior Trek-verse versus Deadliest Warrior Star Wars ve

Species 8472 against Gungans. Now there's a fair fight! LOL

Re: Deadliest Warrior Trek-verse versus Deadliest Warrior Star Wars ve

Star Destroyer against Galaxy class. Ent D wins. Because lasers are useless against Federation shields.

Death Star against Borg Cube. Borg wins.

Re: Deadliest Warrior Trek-verse versus Deadliest Warrior Star Wars ve

Species 8472 beats anyone in hand-to-hand combat.

Re: Deadliest Warrior Trek-verse versus Deadliest Warrior Star Wars ve

Q is way above hand-to-hand combat. It makes me laugh how many people think Sisko actually decked Q - as if Q could not have prevented that if he didn't want that result.

Re: Deadliest Warrior Trek-verse versus Deadliest Warrior Star Wars ve

Well Q is capable of being surprised by humans (i.e. no omniscience in terms of future events) so maybe he wasn't expecting it. Though I doubt that Sisko would actually win if Q actually cared.

Re: Deadliest Warrior Trek-verse versus Deadliest Warrior Star Wars ve

Directed energy weapons would have to be taken out of the equation. Phasers and disruptors can lay waste to city blocks. Blasters... somewhat less.

Star Destroyer against Galaxy class. Ent D wins. Because lasers are useless against Federation shields.

C3PO v Data. Small talk at 30 paces.

I like C3PO vs. Lore better.

I thought C3PO (especially in The Empire Strikes Back) was more annoying than Jar Jar Binks ever was.

This shouldn't matter, since he should have perfect awareness of what is going on now, and the ability to think and move quickly enough to react to the impulse being generated by Sisko's brain and sent to the relevant muscles. Unless.... the reason Sisko, specifically, was able to get away with it had to do with his wormhole-alien heritage.

I don't know, if Q had perfect awareness ofwhat was now, wouldn't he be able to say exactly what needs to be said to get what he wants? Or is that all part of the game? Damn omnipotent beings and the details of their mechanics :p

As for Sisko, isn't there something wierd about how the Prophets only went back once to turn him into a part-Prophet being? Or something? I didn't catch all of Season 7, so my understanding there is a bit hazy.

Re: Deadliest Warrior Trek-verse versus Deadliest Warrior Star Wars ve

Another interesting Star Trek vs. Star Wars Deadliest Warrior: Mandalorian versus Klingon.

I'd give the Mandalorian an advantage because of the armor, but a skilled Klingon can be a damned formidable opponent - especially at close range if he or she finds a weakness in the Mandalorian's armor.

This would be a squad on squad match up to prevent a lucky hit from determining the outcome of a match.

Surly Data would have taken command of the Enterprise and blown the stupid star wars ship to pieces.

Trek wins every time.:bolian:
