Deadliest Warrior season 3

so what did you guys think of tonight's ep?

I think there was a fluke of test that went a long way. Gatlings can jam too, not just the Vickers. But I think that essentially sealed Roosevelt's victory. The last time this happened was Jesse James' quick draw vs. a guy who lazily lifted up his gun.

That being said, even though I disagree with the result, the Knife fight between Lawrence and Teddy was awesome.

I guess I didn't expect the scientific method after the Spetnaz beat the US Army Special Forces because the retired Russian didn't take the pistol course as fast so he didn't miss one target.

But the SEAL expert calling the weapons a wash as if given the choice he would flip a coin :wtf:. I guess the Ranger Code reads don't lie to another Ranger or officer, to TV viewers its okay to lie. :cardie:

You have to keep in mind there were several factors for calling it a wash. The gun is lighter, has less of a recoil, and, based on the test, appeared more accurate. Both guns are sufficient to kill people. The only question is if the magazine outweighs the other stuff. I think it does (and don't think accuracy is anything beyond user error), but it's consistent with everything else in the show.

I think Pancho Villa because he has the time advantage. Plus, Crazy Horse apparently has a bow and I think the ship sailed on that by that point. I'm open to being wrong, I'm worried the America Bias might shift to Crazy Horse, and I recognize Pancho Villa isn't as much of a household name. Still, that's my thought.

BTW, although I agree completely with the result last week, there is something awesome seeing Teddy Roosevelt and Lawrence of Arabia in a knife fight.

next weeks episode is "Crazy horse vs Pancho Villa" in this one I am going with Crazy Horse. way better leader than pancho.

i'm gonna go with Crazy Horse. like Alidar Jarok said, they may give it to him just cause of the bias. but, Native Americans have yet to loose and i do think in a five on five match he could beat Villa.

The thing is, both were guerrilla fighters, so it's not like Crazy Horse has any tactical advantage. Plus, the United States managed to defeat Crazy Horse, the same cannot be said for Pancho Villa. Either way, this should be interesting.

They could have had a more Hispanic looking guy to play pancho villa, but other than that it was a good matchup.

I am so looking forward to the season finally. I am so going with vampires originaly I was going with zombies but I love vamps more.

Yeah I think the vamps will win but hell they will probly end up sayin that zombies win just because they outnumber the vampire. I wouldn't be surprised if it went like that.

I just hope they don't use the twilight vamps argh. the books are okay but I hate the movies. now the vamps from vampire diaries and anne rice's vamps are awesome.

it deepends on which kinda vamps they use and which kinda zombies they use.
If they go traditional style of both then vamps will win.

Anne rices vamps are a good template.
I agree that if they use the traditional styles of both than vamps would most likely win but who knows, the zombies might pull something out of their undead @$$es.

Season finale is tonight at 9pm. The soldiers who don't fear death vs. the elite force viewed as expendable.

Followed, of course by Vampires and Zombies.

I'm routing for the French Foreign Legion, but I see a bit of a David vs. Goliath thing here. AKA, that Legionnaire is fucking huge. He also really likes stabbing things (which might be why he had to join the Legion).
