Deadliest Warrior season 3

Y'all. As entertaining as it is, this show ain't scientific.

How many times have they set up different target arrangements to compare matched weapons?

They probably conduct 5-10 times as many tests as they show on TV. My guess is they do actually compare apples to apples in that regard, they'll just show the oranges because it'll make for better television.

did they ever do hitler vs anybody? I thought this week was pretty good I did'nt even know who pol pott was.

Seriously? He was responsible for the death of more than 20% of the Cambodian population. You've never heard of The Killing Fields?

They didn't do Hitler himself, but they did do the SS vs. the Viet Cong.

I thought they had to walk a very fine line between the show's normal tone and not glorifying these individuals. I thought they did better than expected. Their experts, survivors of the regime, were really interesting to have. As for the result, I think it's the right one. This is the first time the X-factors seemed to be determinative, though.

Next week, they might as well rename the show to Deadliest Ego.

Saddam Hussein vs. Pol Pot turned out to be a very interesting show. like Jarko said, i think they did a very good job of walking the thin line between doing something entertaining and respecting those who were directly affected.

really looking forward to next episode. i'm rooting for TR!

My money is on Lawrence. Neither is great, but I'm siding with technology. Machinegun technology progressed incredibly between the two periods. Granted, I don't know if Lawrence had the resources of Teddy, but that would be the only complication I can think of.

right. this may go the same way Joan VS William did with technology being a major factor. i'm curious as to how the tactics of TR fare against those of Lawrence.

Charge up a less important hill than the main objective and claim credit for the whole thing vs. blow up a railroad line and claim credit for the whole thing? Hard to say.

I am going to give it up to the rough riiders. and proper military trianing.
finally saw GEORGE WASHINGTON vs naepolian great episode.

I can't believe they are gonna do zombies vs vampires. I think the vampires have an overwhelming advantage. I'm surprised the vickers lost to the Gatling gun, figured newer technology would prevail.

zombies win by biteing the vampires and then turning them into zombies. the dead rule. and, did I call it or what with the rough riders.

so what did you guys think of tonight's ep?

The 5 shot single round reloading carbine was equal to a 10 round SMLE with stripper clips for rapid reloading :cardie:

The 'experts" called it even but didn't the US Army rapidly move to reequip to something like the Lee Enfield as a result of the Spanish American War
