Sorry to go off topic here but I have an actual SCE question for esteemed writers (or anyone else). I may have missed this but why is the series now called Corps of Engineers? SCE had a nice ring to it.

It does have a nice ring to it, but its meaning isn't particularly obvious. It's not a common acronym, and there was a concern that people weren't trying it because they didn't know what it was....
