Dead Space 2?

Does anyone in the UK know if anywhere is selling the Limited/Collector's Edition of Dead Space 2 for Xbox 360? I've checked online and it seems that (for Game, HMV and Amazon) that the LE/CE version is only available for PS3?

I want me my replica plasma cutter :(

Can't wait for this game. The first one was the first video game I ever had that scared the boo boo out of me. I actually had to stop playing after awhile to let my nerves calm down. I heard this one is even better.

I guess I will be sleeping with the lights on after buying it.

Far as I know only the PS3 is getting a Limited Edition (comes with Extraction for move and Ignition plus some bonus features).

Sony signed exclusive deal with EA for it.

Any get this? If so how is it and is it worth $60 bucks?

Definately. If you liked the first one, then you should like this one. I would say it's pretty much more of the same, but that's not a negative thing. Improvements have been made, like better movement in zero gravity, and kinesis is much more useful as a weapon of sorts. Issac's hallucinations add a supernatural element as well. The setting is also much more diverse than the first game.

Sounds good. The only problem I had with the first one was after awhile the scares really weren't that scary. I started to expect it so when they happened I wasn't really scared anymore. I got more scared trying to figure out how to accomplish a task than fighting the monsters.

I am absolutely loving this game. I'm 7 hours into my first playthrough, and I think I'm on the final chapter. Can't wait to go through it on the hardest difficulty.

Excellent sequel. About 2/3 of the way through. Loved seeing a certain something out the window and wondering "...is that?" NFW, then having Isaac have the same reaction when he gets it confirmed shortly after. Voice acting is top-notch. Mechanics feel tighter. The new baddies are creepy-cool and actually dangerous. The environments are alternately epic and horror of the mundane. Overall, shaping up to be a repeat offender in my disc tray after I beat it on Zealot.

Especially like the cross-connects with book, comics, anime and the 1st game. I love this IP and it's nice to see the creators taking the time to make everything fit together.

Only disappointments so far are the chapters aren't named (I was hoping for another message) and the Marker writings are almost impossible to read for the most part, even on a wide-screen. The vintage suit doesn't quite feel like the original, either.

Also, it would have been funny if Isaac had picked up on the first twist before it happened and responded a little more drolly.

Very minor issues, though.

I'm on my second playthrough at the moment. Did it on Normal first (9hrs 45min), and now I'm going through on Zealot difficulty. Currently at Chapter 10 and loving every minute of it again.

I am totally loving this game :) I have to say, making Isaac Clarke a speaking character with his own personality was a great choice, and very smart. By doing this, a lot of moments become that much more involved, and certain sequences would not have had any were near the impact they would have done (if even possible) if he was a mute character.

Gotta say that the improvement in graphics was quite a surprise to me, the level of details was simply mindblowing. The attention to detail really stands out, really bringing 'life' to some of the levels (seems wrong to use that word in context of this kind of game), especially to some of the areas in Chapters 5 and 6 (you probably know which areas I mean ;)).

I like the changes that have been made to zero-g movement, the armour upgrade system and some of the weapons (I find I'm using the Pulse rifle a lot more than before), and the mix of the new and the old baddies is very well done in my opinion (though those new puker/spitters are REALLY getting on my nerves).

Currently still on my first playthrough, doing it on Survivalist difficulty, stuck on a particular room in Chapter 13, it's driving my head in...

Has anyone tried the multiplayer yet? My internet's been up the duffer recently, so not tried it, plus the single player is much more what I'm really interested in anyway.

Completed the Zealot playthrough. Awesome stuff. Now I'm just doing a Casual playthrough to mop up the remaining Trophies and make sure I know the game throughout before I do the Hardcore run to finish it off. That should be fun.

Dead Space 2 is a phenomenal game, if you played and and enjoyed the first, you will flip over Pt 2.
I just finished my second play through and started a third.

The only Achievement I have left to get is the one for completing it on Hardcore mode.
That one is gonna be a Biotch.
Three saves, no checkpoints for 15 chapters of play. Ughh.

Only 3 saves and no checkpoints?? Wondering if I hate myself enough to even attempt it :p

Just got it and played through Extraction. It was a fun little romp with some nice ties to the first game.

Watched the "Previously on Dead Space" bit and look forward to starting it tomorrow.

The only trophy I need now is the gold one for completing the game on Hardcore. I got distracted by the Black Ops double xp weekend, but tomorrow I'll be starting my Harcore playthrough to finish the game off.

Played some of Dead Space: Extraction the other day. It's a fun game, which fleshes out the story behind Dead Space a bit more, but it's not ideal playing it with a Dualshock controller. It would play better, and I'd enjoy it a lot more, if I had Move.
