Didn't they strongly imply Isaac died at the end of the first game? Are we going to get a dream sequence write off?
In an inspiring attempt to try and take even more gratuitous liberties with the works of Dante Alighieri, Visceral Games has announced a Europe-only special edition bundle of its upcoming Hell-based action title, Dante's Inferno. The "Death Edition" bundle comes with a copy of the poem, some making-of documentaries, and an art book. However, its greatest bonus is a new skin for the game's scythe-wielding protagonist: The slot-helmeted outfit of Dead Space's hero, Isaac Clarke.
Didn't they strongly imply Isaac died at the end of the first game? Are we going to get a dream sequence write off?
Well before it was announced that he was surviving to be in the second game, there was a fair amount of discussion as to whether the 'Nicolemorph' was actually real or a manifestation of Isaac going batshit insane after everything that happened*. Also, a fair few people refuse to believe after all the massive claws and jaws eating away at his neck and face during the game, and subsequently getting the Isaac Boot(tm) to the face, that a single 'weak' Necromorph could beat him so quickly.
*pointing to how, even though she looked necro'd, she wasn't completely which was never seen before, so perhaps like his hallucination about the recording being incomplete, when it had really shown that she had committed suicide in the recording*
