Dead Companions?

That would be a bit hard to reconcile with River Song not recognizing Donna in "Silence in the Library."

I don't think Donna is now a Time Lord anyway- the contents of the Doctor's mind were dumped into her human brain, but I doubt her biology changed any.

Remember when the Doctor junked Jenny? How about being timelord isn't a matter of biology? It's a code and all that other stuff going to school for a hundred years? It's what's in your brain that counts compared to how many hearts you have.

I was definately peeved after watching what they did to Peri. Would've made a lot more sense if they'd just pulled a 'War Games' and dumped her back on Earth with her memory erased. (With his fondness for old DW references, you'd think JNT would've jumped on the idea).

in the recent The Boy That Time Forgot it was revealed he didn't die and instead became worshiped by of a group of sentient scorpions. By the time the Doctor crosses paths with him again he's in his old age (and played by Andrew Sachs), intent on revenge on the Doctor for abandoning him, and wants Nyssa as his bride. However the scorpions revolt and Adric dies saving them.

Well. at least now I can say I've just heard the worst Who story ever. Ugh.

So where were the bloody Silurians during all this?

They were falling through the large plot holes?

Yeah...I think it would have had more impact as a story if they had gotten Matthew Waterhouse to reprise the role...

Matthew lives in America. Bringing him over for a couple days was outside Big Finishes Budget.

They got Andrew Saches instead.

Manuel from Fawlty Towers.

The Stargate audios have had both Canadian and British actors in the same audio, so it wasn't outside the realm of possibility.

^When you only have to pay one major actor, therefore have less post-production, and can charge more per disc, the realm of possibility is rather different.

When did Stargate get audios?

Big Finish released six one-hour audios last year; three for SG-1 (starring Daniel, Daniel & Vala, and Dr. Frasier) and three for Atlantis (starring Weir, Beckett, and Zelenka).

The fourth SG-1 audio was originally announced as one starring Janet Frasier and Teal'c, but it would appear to have been replaced with a Teal'c-centric audio.

That's true, though I have to imagine that he could have recorded his lines separately from the other actors, even though that's not what Big Finish normally does. Ah, well, I haven't listened to the audio yet, so I can't judge it.

^True, but separate recording would entail its own expenses. As you might know, BF did it to get Anthony Stewart Head's dialogue in the Excelis trilogy, but those are also smaller-scale stories, and Head is probably a bigger audience draw than Waterhouse.

Okay thanks for the info.
