A Sony Online Entertainment rep laid it out at this weekend's DCUO panel at ComicCon.

Initial subscription fee for PC users is $49.99 per month; for Sony PS3 players, it's $59.99. that comes with a free 30-day subscription.

After that, it will cost PC & PS3 users the same monthly subscription fee, $14.99 per.

I'm assuming that the initial subscription fee is the actual purchase of the game disc.

The $14.99 per month is a given and expected. What I was referring to was the $59.99 "initial subscription fee". I would hate to think we'll buy the game disc for $59.99 and then also pay an additional fee of $59.99 to start up a subscription.

Wow, I'd be amazed if that was true. That goes against most models, doesn't it? I'd expect a $59.99 purchase price and then the $15 monthly.
