DC Universe Online...

Ok, so I hit the level cap (20) with my hero character, Reactor...

...but there's not much more I can do with him aside from the PvP stuff. There's a mission I'm supposed to get off Nightwing in Gotham, but when I talk to him, he just says something about "keeping these two under surveillance" and that's it. Batman then contacts me, and tells me something is going down in the Burnley area of the city, but I don't get a map marker, no new mission shows up in my menu, and when I go to Burnley, I can't find anything. So I can't seem to advance with the missions because I can't complete that one.

So, I decided to make my new villain character, Antimatter...

...who is basically the evil version of Reactor (imaginitive, I know), although I've gone a bit of a different route with some of the powers I've unlocked. I've got him up to level 9 so far.

Got to say, bugs and freezes aside (par for the course in a beta of this size), I am loving this game. I'll be getting it day 1 for definite. Apparently, the release date has been moved forward to January 11th (US), January 14th (EU), so it looks like my wallet will be taking a beating, what with Dead Space 2 out a week or so later.

So, anyone else wondering how long til we get Marvel Universe Online?

It looks like the DC online people paid attention to the lessons learned by COH/V & CHampions Online.

It's a good game, but I don't like the changes they've made during Beta. My biggest complaint is the change in menu design; it used to look more like a comic book, but now it looks like just another game.

Another negative change has been the boss battles. When Beta started, the boss battles were a cooperative effort between you and a DC Hero (such as Flash or Wonder Girl). An example would be a battle in which your job was to distract the villain while the DC Hero could put together a finish to the scenario. It was challenging, but apparently too many people complained; and now the boss battles are just clicking exercises.

They also changed up a pretty funny feature with Booster Gold. Apparently people complained that it was taking too long for his segment, so the designers opted to get the voice actor to re-record the same dialogue only talking faster. I can't fathom why they wouldn't just give the gamer the option to exit Booster's part if they didn't want to hear it.

I still enjoy the game overall, but they had a perfect game at first in my opinion; Beta has done nothing but drag it down.
