He was okay in the 80's (pissing off Cher!) but I've never liked him since. He wasn't meant to be a leading man, so to speak. But I don't understand the late night talk show host cult anyway. Carson was a god to some people, just because he stayed in the same job for decades. Some of his schtick was funny, but not "stay up an hour after the news" funny.

Late night t.v. is for insomniacs and people without jobs. I'm not even sure why it exists.

And why they pay Carson Daly to do anything is a mystery. "Hey, we need some unfunny, uncharistmatic twit to host a show at 1:30 in the morning."

I find found it funny to see his show evolve then devolve.

First the show was an attempt to be grunge and hip with the lawn chairs for the guests(or something like that)

Then he had an actual talkshow type set up. Now he just interviews people on the go.

What really pisses me off about Carson Daly is that he took up the timeslot that NBC used to use for SCTV reruns. It doesn't make any sense to put this painfully unfunny, unentertaining talk show on when they could just as easily give us unemployed insomniacs old reruns of SCTV or SNL.
