News Darth Vader actor David Prowse has passed away.

I read that he was banned from attending official conventions in 2010. Anyone know why?

Falling out with George Lucas.

He was still able to attend fan run and non-official franchise conventions. That's how I met him, it was a scifi expo, not a Star Wars Celebration event.

I only hope the casket was a mirror finish jet-black job that would do Vader proud.
