Nearly a year ago, I posted a thread about an online quiz (a fun thing, no doubt) in which after answering a series of questions, I would determine which level of the Inferno (according to Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy) I would end up when I died.
The original thread, now too old to resurrect, can be found here and is quite a fascinating read. Quite a lot of heretics out there in the TrekBBS, it seems.

It's been nearly 12 months, and my life has changed a lot during this time, and I thought to myself, "OK, circumstances and my world view have changed a lot, would it affect the outcome of this test again?" So I had another go at the test.
Back in November 2008, I got this result:

This time, I have remained in Limbo, with the exact same breakdown as before. So, I guess a year of personal upheval hasn't really changed my underlying afterlife status (according to Dante).First Level of Hell - Limbo
Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief's abysmal valley. You are in Limbo, a place of sorrow without torment. You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. These are the virtuous pagans, the great philosophers and authors, unbaptised children, and others unfit to enter the kingdom of heaven. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad.
The breakdown in terms of where in Hell, who gets sent there, and how strong my answers corresponded to these levels:
Purgatory Repenting Believers High
Level 1 - Limbo Virtuous Non-Believers Very High
Level 2 Lustful Low
Level 3 Gluttonous Moderate
Level 4 Prodigal and Avaricious Low
Level 5 Wrathful and Gloomy Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis Heretics Very Low
Level 7 Violent Low
Level 8- the Malebolge Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers Low
Level 9 - Cocytus Treacherous Low
