Dalek Action Figures

Below are images of the current line of Dalek Action Figures available from Character Options. I was just wondering what types and colours of Daleks have we seen on screen. I was hoping that others here can fill in the blanks for me. Below are the images and the episodes that they have appeared in. Can anybody tell me which other daleks (type or colours) appeared in these episodes. I have also listed the episodes that the Daleks appear in but have no Action Figures. Are the Daleks in those episodes different to the ones that have action figures or were they reused props?

Stories that feature the Daleks that do have an Action Figure:

Stories that feature the Daleks but don't have action figures:

The Chase (1965) First Doctor

Mission to the Unknown (1965) First Doctor

The Daleks' Masterplan (1965) First Doctor

The Power of the Daleks (1966) Second Doctor

Frontier in Space (1973) Third Doctor

Resurrection of the Daleks (1984) Fifth Doctor

Revelation of the Daleks (1985) Sixth Doctor

Any help would be appreciated.

It's amazing how many different color schemes these things have had throughout the years. I kinda wish they had just found one style and stuck with it.

Top of the head list (of the omissions), so there'll be omissions:
Dalek Invasion of Earth: standard silver/blue Dalek (with dish).
Chase/Mission/Masterplan; standard silver/blue Dalek (with slats).
Chase/Mission/Masterplan: Black Dalek Supreme.
Power/Evil: Standard silver/blue Dalek (the shoulder sections were slightly widened compared with the previous versions).
Evil: The Emperor.
Day/Planet/Genesis: Standard grey/black Dalek (there is a Genesis Dalek which is close, but it has the non-matching paintwork of the test Dalek on its gun).
Death: Death to the Daleks colour scheme with usual weapons.
Destiny: Destiny Dalek without the suicide belt.
Resurrection/Revelation: Standard and Supreme Daleks - minor variations on the black/grey colour scheme, but a bit different.
Revelation: White/gold Daleks (the Revelation white/gold Daleks are new builds, but similar to the older Daleks, rather than the redesigned white/gold ones of Remembrance).
Remembrance: 'Renegade' Daleks (which are the new props from Revelation, repainted), plus the renegade Supreme, and the Davros Emperor. And the Special Weapons 'Tank' Dalek.

You could also add in to that list the TV21 Emperor (which I'd love to have a model of), and a string of dodgy stuck-together variant Daleks where they look a bit odd (you'd think they wouldn't do a figure of them, but as they've done the half-painted one from Dalek Invasion of Earth 2, you never know). Plus swap-outs for the plunger!

Thanks for that list. Were there other colour variations in Dalek Invasion of Earth? I have the dvd so I can check tonight but I thought that there might be red daleks as well as blue ones and yellow ones. Or am I thinking of the movies?

I think that's the movies.
IIRC, Dalek Invasion of Earth features the silver/black 'foot soldiers', the black Dalek Supreme, and the odd zebra-sriped saucer commander in episode two (which was, reportedly, just the supreme rushed into studio while half-painted. Ther's some reports that the non-black panels were actually red, not silver, as that was the colour of the undercoat paint).

I must have been confused with the movie because the TV episodes of Dalek's Invasion of Earth are in B&W.

Of those, I've got them all but the suicide Dalek from "Destiny of the Daleks".

My girlffriend has assured me that when we buy a house, my collection will be confined to the basement in nondescript brown boxes.

Boy I'd love to get my hands on a set. Though I suspect they'll be sold out before any make their way to the US. And probably cost a fortune in any case.

Uh... they're all already in NA and have been for some time. In fact, with the McCoy/Dalek set, we got them in NA before they got them in the UK.

And a few of us have said it before and it's worth saying again... Mike's Comics (just google that name). He's got the lowest prices of all the retailers selling the DW figures.

Just in case anyone is interested here is a great site that has the history of the dalek props - http://www.dalek6388.co.uk/

I've just finished reading this site - http://www.dalek6388.co.uk/ which outlines the history of the dalek props and the various changes they went through and it is just fascinating. They really treated those props like shit over the years and it's amazing that parts from the original props were used almost throughout the whole history of the classic show. Great read for Dalek fans.

It's also interesting to note that not all the Dalek props in any one episode were the same and there were minor differences due to cannibalisation for parts and shoddy builds and general wear and tear.
