Most of the CW feels like it's on it's last legs (though Batwoman seems to be having an unexpected uptick in quality), and the Flash has had a string of very "meh" seasons, so I think it makes sense to call it a day at 9. Hell, I'm surprised it got past 8! I just hope it's not going to have a similar painful crawl to the finish line that Arrow and Supergirl got, and that they go out on a high note.
