I've had an idea to do my own line of limited-run figures of every character and variation thereof from the entire Voyager series. I'm talking about EVERY character that has a spoken line.
A good Trek friend suggested I sign up here and ask if anyone would be interested.
My BG: My main interest in Star Trek has always been on the production design end. I've done sculpting for toy companies before. Many years ago I worked for Lincoln Enterprises (Majel Barrett) on a first version of their website (but it never saw the light of day - really get design though, LCARS system that linked a replicator interface to the various alien systems. People loved it, but Majel got cheap).
I've started on a figure of Tom Paris in his prison greys from "The Caretaker".
I plan to sculpt them in scale with Diamond Select's figures.
All will be sculpted from scratch, hand cast/painted/assembled. I'll design packaging. Probably not more than 20 of each figure.
Well, is there a possible interest out there? I wanted to do the series just for myself, but I need to make and sell multiples to defray the costs.
