Current snack obession?

Apples in peanut butter.

I love those too and should probably start eating those instead of my current obsession - stovetop-popped popcorn with extra virgin olive oil and salt. I'm eating it right now in fact.
They both have their pluses and minuses. At least you're not using butter -- and popcorn is lower in calories! Apples and pb are, of course, more nutritious, but also more calories. And lately I can't seem to help myself when it comes to eating then every day!
 
I'm postponing my snack obsession ... but I have two 1kg bags of Bassett's Winegums waiting to be devoured.
 
As I'm attempting a bit of healthy eating for once in my life......grapes. Boring, eh? But yumcious, nonetheless.

My all-time favorite fruit and one of my favorite foods, but not as healthy as you think. Lots of sugar in them.
Yeah, I know...that's why I don't have many when indulging in snackage. Still - I used to snack on all things chocolate and in much greater quantities, so I reckon I'm doing OK.

I'm currently stuck on crunchy cheetos. I can definitely identify with the soft pretzels, popcorn, and salt and vinegar chips, though.
 
Don't really snack to much, crazy I know, but when I do, I go for something salty over sweet.

Pretzels are where it's at!
 
Premium M&Ms-Almond. Or Meiji chocolate covered almonds. Or just plain almonds. Or chocolate.

Now I'm hungry.
 
Apples in peanut butter. I'm eating it right now! It's a snack I've enjoyed all my life, but lately I can't get enough. And I'm quite particular. It must be a Cameo apple and only all natural freshly-ground peanut butter will do. I ground mine barely three hours ago.
The cook part of me is going all giggle reading you make you grind your own peanutbutter. Seriously, that's awesome! :techman:
It tastes SO much better -- and the consistency is perfect. I like store-bought creamy PB alright, but it's better on fruits than on apples and celery. Store-bought chunky is too chunky, but not in the right way. It's all big chunks and the texture isn't consistent. It's like they just stirred some peanuts into the creamy stuff. Some oven-roasted peanuts and a little honey in the food processor makes the perfect peanut butter.
I shall most definetly have to try that! Especially since bro eats all the peanut butter uin like three days whenever I buy some :/
 
I like apples and Nutella. My current favorite snack, however, is popcorn. I just got an air popper for my birthday, and the fresh stuff is a zillion times better than microwave popcorn.
 
I've stopped snacking and upgraded to simply eating 6-7 meals a day (a meal consisting of about 300-500 calories).

Given the time I'd probably snack too, but sadly I have to work at some point in the day!

Okay tried making some peanutbutter but it became way to sweet with honey added. I'l try peanut oil instead next time.
