Current snack obession?

I go through phases with my snacks, there was a whole year where I was addicted to Swedish Fish and Sour Patch Kids.

Right now, my fixation is on Chex Mix Chocolate Turtle Snack Mix.

I could eat bag after bag of it, if it wasn't for moderate self-restraint and the cost-prohibitiveness of it.

What say you? What gets your snack on lately? What where your previous snack addictions?

Apples in peanut butter. I'm eating it right now! It's a snack I've enjoyed all my life, but lately I can't get enough. And I'm quite particular. It must be a Cameo apple and only all natural freshly-ground peanut butter will do. I ground mine barely three hours ago.

As I'm attempting a bit of healthy eating for once in my life......grapes. Boring, eh? But yumcious, nonetheless.

:D

The cook part of me is going all giggle reading you make you grind your own peanutbutter. Seriously, that's awesome! :techman:

Me I'm desperatly trying to stop with snacks at the moment. Because I really really need to resemble a Jabba the Hut less and a more resemble a human. So now I'm trying to take a apple when I'm snackish or make some tea. Which is really hard since I've gotten used to crisps!

I've been eating a lot of ranch flavored Corn Nuts while driving for work for the past month or so. Before that it was spicy mustard pretzels.

I love Cameo apples. The only place I ever saw them was Trader Joe's and they don't sell them any more

My all-time favorite fruit and one of my favorite foods, but not as healthy as you think. Lots of sugar in them. Still as long as there on the hard side I have never met a grape I didn't like: green seedless, red seedless, globe, concord.

It tastes SO much better -- and the consistency is perfect. I like store-bought creamy PB alright, but it's better on fruits than on apples and celery. Store-bought chunky is too chunky, but not in the right way. It's all big chunks and the texture isn't consistent. It's like they just stirred some peanuts into the creamy stuff. Some oven-roasted peanuts and a little honey in the food processor makes the perfect peanut butter.

Cameos are the best. I get them at Whole Foods. One thing I particularly like about them is that they are not waxed.

I also have an obsession with ginger chews.

OMG I've just realised I don't snack!
I'm getting myself some cheeselets first thing tomorrow!
