Cunning Linguists, time to show off!

1. Swedish
2. Finnish
3. English
4. German (5 years)
5. French (3 years)
6. Italian (intensive course)
7. Dutch (work in progress)

Had three years of German in school, but never really learned it. I can however understand some of it, and make some very grammatically wrong sentences

Ah, you'll fit right in with the natives. ;)

Here's my list:

German (my mother tongue)
English (fluent)
French (5 years in school, forgot a lot, was never really good at speaking it unless I was drunk)
Latin (5 years in school, but it's not a spoken language)
Italian (enough to be able to read scientific articles in my field (archeology))
Russian (half a year in school, then the teacher got sick :()

Not very impressive, but most people one meets abroad usually speak english with you, anyway.

^ Wow. That is so impressive.

I speak 2 languages fluently and 2 in a very broken fashion.

Thank you :) But im quite shy when speaking foreign languages, so I come off as knowing far less than I do. English I am ok with speaking whenever, but that is because i speak it daily lol

English (native).
German (not too bad - six years in school and probably something I'll return to for a year or two with the aim of becoming fluent).
French (enough to get me what I want and need in France - five years in school).

Oh, and I've had to learn Scottish (Weegie) too! ;)

English, French and Brummie. Also I can read Latin, and could probably speak it if required, but speaking it is not in any way part of the learning process typically.
