At fanfiction.net there is an excellent st:tng/nuBSG crossover. It's called "Going Native". A BSG officer is a lost Star Fleet officer. Just read on.

An interesting crossover would be Trek and George R.R, Martin's "Song of Fire and Ice" Westeros series. I loved the first 4 books of his series. It would be interesting to see how the various Trek characters (Kirk, Spock, Picard, Voyager, or the NXX Enterprise) would interact with GRRM's characters such as the Lannister sibs, Sansa and Arya Stark, Jon Snow, Princess Dany, The Onion Knight, and so on. Anyone on this board familiar with this.?

A good plot line would be a Fed ship wants to take a gander at a planet with humanoid life and has a weird orbit(long winters). A shuttle, piloted by Chakotay crashes, he is the only survivor. Ensign Sato on a planetary investigation finds not only are the people human but have IndoEuropean, Turkic, Asian, and Semitic language roots. just some possibilities.

I've always pictured Cersei Lannister as an evil Seven of Nine. The Onion Knight Brings to mind O'Brien. King Stannis evokes Captain Picard witha beard. Just, my own mental pictures.

So whaddya think?

I've never been a fan of crossovers except as brief cameo appearances in a segment of fic where a Starfleet crew have inadvertantly become "Sliders" due to accidental exposure to a Hur'q "boobytrap" that was left behind to be recovered by the Kam'Jathae in their quest to re-conquer the quadrant, & the Starfleet crew are desperately trying to get back to their original reality.

(Players of "Star Trek: Invasion" know these references.)
