Crossing fingers JJ Abrams doesn't let someone else direct sequel..

Re: Crossing fingers JJ Abrams doesn't let someone else direct sequel.

With a good script Michael Bay could make the movie action blockbuster worthy. I also like Christopher Nolan if only because Batman Begins had a lot of depth on the drama side and was also an action blockbuster. More than the choice of director I wish the next script will have something to say, while still keeping the action on a good level.

It was a good film, but I couldn't care less if he returns or not. It might even be nice to see one of these that doesn't have blurry, shaky, overexposed, lens flared headache inducing action in every single one of it's six hundred billion hyperpaced, intercut scenes.

And for your sake....maybe have all the redshirts live.

I would prefer JJ Abrams, but if he can't maybe Bryan Singer? Nimoy would be a fine pick as well.
