Spoilers Crisis on Infinite Earths Discussion (CW Event Spoiler Thread)

Speaking of Julie Newmar, I'm still mad we never got her appearance on Gotham as Selina's grandmother that her and Camren Bicondova talked about in an interview they did together. I know they were just joking around, but it would have been amazing.
Linda Carter sounds rather underwhelming for a big cameo reveal. I hoping it’s someone we wouldn’t expect
Linda Carter would be awesome. You really have to keep your expectations realisitic, this a group of CW shows, one of the lower tier networks, there's is no way they are going to be able to afford any kind of noteworthy movie actors. The kind of people we've already seen are probably the best they are going to be able to afford, unless someone is feeling very, very generous.

She would be fine but she’s already been in Supergirl. I would be interested if there would be a genuine surprise at the end. She would have worked better as one of the cameos in the first 3 parts.

But we've still gotten movie universes incorporated through Robert Wuhl and Brandon Routh. Maybe they couldn't get Christian Bale or Henry Cavill, but maybe they could manage, say, Joe Morton as Silas Stone, or William Devane as the President from the Nolan-Batman universe. (Devane played the President in Stargate SG-1 too, so we know he'll do TV.)

Hey, Michael Jai White, the Arrowverse's Bronze Tiger, played a mob boss in The Dark Knight. Oh, but the Joker killed him, so I guess he couldn't appear.

Speaking of the Joker and Robert Wuhl, has anyone commented on the discrepancy that Alexander Knox was reading a headline saying "Batman Captures Joker" even though the Joker died in the movie? Well, the comics' Joker had a knack for coming back from seemingly certain death, so it still works. Although maybe Earth-89 is another universe whose chronology doesn't align, since it's hard to believe Batman and Joker would still be active 30 years later, so maybe their world is still in the past.

Doing a rewatch and it seems Earth-75’s Metropolis is in Canada (Clark and Lois walk by a Government of Canada building just before they see the news flash about Superman’s death). I guess there’s one Earth where Canada is the main power in North America. ;)

Clorris Leachman as Hyppolyta?

Lenny Luthor... Which is what Brandon's Chris Reeve's Superman should have said upon meeting Earth 38 Lex.

John Glover as Lionel Luthor and Sivana's dad too, competing for the father of the year award.

This is exactly why I can't accept THIS Routh version as a sequel to the REEVE version. It seems like a similar, but not identical Earth. For various reasons, Routh's and Reeve's version can't be the same Superman.
Or maybe this older, more seasoned version of Superman came to see his father's wisdom in realizing that hitting the reset button to undo personal tragedy is a massive story copout.

No. If anything, this was a far more legit reason to use time travel. Hundreds of people died there. And what Superman did in the first movie, while a bad plot choice, harmed no one and ended up saving lives.
