Crew of 'Antares' is dead!

Grant

Commodore

In real life, too!!

Dallas Mitchell who played Tom Nellis in 'Charlie X' passed away Sep 13, 2009 and is just now reported online. He was 81 !!! Damn he looked pretty young in that episode.
Charles Stewart who played Captain Ramart died several years ago.

Also just being reported online is the death of Alyce Andreece---who played Alice series '1-250' in 'I, Mudd.'
She died way back in 2005 at age 68. It seems her twin sister Rhae is still kicking at 73. Must be tough to lose a twin.

I'll bet there are literally dozens of TOS actors that are deceased and not reported. Most of the very minor TOS actor stopped acting in the 1970s and nobody thought to 'announce' it to Variety or other entertainment outlets.
I'm sure that some of their families don't even realize anybody out there would take note.
But us TOS fans do. They were part of history and we salute them.

RIP to those I mentioned here!

I'm gonna be spending a lot of time on imdb.com for the next several months with this Concordance thing...

This is just more and more common now. The show is over 40 years old, and many of the actors were 30+ back then. I was watching The Cage a while ago and there was a scene with Hunter, Majel, and Susan Oliver in it and I was struck by the eerie notion they they were all gone now. Sad.

^^That's nothing!

Of the 17 actors in the Cage with speaking parts---only 5 are alive:
Nimoy 78 years old
Peter Duryea----Tyler
Robert Phillips------'Space officer' 80+ years old
Ed Madden-------Geologist (he has dropped off the map and may be deceased)
Laurel Goodwin?----yeoman

Passed:
3 'survivors'
Vina
'Trader'
2 Talosians that spoke
Number One
Pike
Boyce
Transporter operator
Blond Officer

Even 'the killer' er, I mean the 'kaylar'----who didn't speak.

That's 70% passed on!!

Laurel Goodwin was boen August 11, 1942 and is still alive.

Yeah, I know she is alive the question mark was about the spelling, plus the fact that i confuse Laurel with the yeoman from WNMHGB.

Dallas Mitchell on the left..........
