Creative Challenge: Man of Steel Returns

After reading through the Dark Knight Returns thread, I started to think.

Let's step into an alternate universe. Frank Miller is about to sit down and write what he thinks will be the best comic story ever. However, instead of deciding to write about Batman, he decides to use Superman as his main character.

As a result, we get The Man of Steel Returns. Given Frank Miller's history of story telling, what would this tale unfold? What challenges would Miller give for the Superman?

If you want, you can also theorize what his All Star Superman would be about as well.

Let's just get it out there: Lana Lang? Whore. Lois Lane? Whore. Ma Kent? Whore.

Now that that's over with: I think it might have been similar to Superman's role in The Dark Knight Strikes Again. He starts off as a government agent, he is used, and then finds a way to make amends.

He's pissed at people for taking advantage of him and/or taking him for granted.

He kills everybody.

He regrets killing Lois and hates himself.

He fantasizes about naked Lois.

He searches for ways to kill himself.

Last panel is Kal-El all alone, the world ablaze around him, crying out for his Father.
