Covers for Elusive Salvation and Live by the Code released

Wow! These are both fantastic! I love the different aspect/viewpoint illustrated in both of them. It's good to see some non-horizontal ships and scenes now and again (the cover of Takedown is another good example of this).

I want the cover of Live by the Code as a large physical poster.

1) It looks like there's a piece of a Klingon BOP sticking out from under it. It's right about in the middle of the page. What is this thing? Is it a piece of debris that managed to get stuck in the hull?

Not sure what you mean. There is an entire Klingon scout (of the type used by Laneth in "Divergence," I think) in front of the Andorian cruiser around the middle of the page, but no fragment sticking out from under/behind it.
Are we going to get a class name at last for the type of ship used by Laneth's crew?

Also, without asking you to spoil anything in the novel, did you consider featuring the D4 class and the *Raptor* class?

Wow! I love both of these covers.

I'm always a sucker for ship covers, so I'm pretty partial to the Live By the Code cover.

The Elusive Salvation cover is my favorite of the two though. It has a really retro look to me, reminiscent of a lot of the sci-fi covers I remember from my childhood in the 70s.

I'm looking forward to these but, then again, when am I not looking forward to a new Star Trek release?

An off-topic thing, Christopher, but if you're interested, the recently released Star Trek Online episodes "Sunrise" and "Stormbound" feature STO's take on Kal Dano, the Tholians, and the Na'kuhl in the Temporal Cold War.
