Cover for CoE-Omnibus Wounds

^ What you prefer is irrelevant. What greenmystik said was: "there really is no alternative." That is categorically not true. There is an alternative. Whether or not that alternative is palatable isn't the point at issue. :)

Good point. I wouldn't mind reading an ebook but I don't have a reader and reading it on a computer doesn't feel the same. *shrugs*

Well here's a first for me in a loooooooong time, I'm going to preorder a 'Trek book based on the cover alone. Hell, I wouldn't mind having a poster of that cover.

I know; your point was generally fair. I was trying to both be humorous and forestall Dayton's prediction (while having it be just a bit true). ;)

Now that we're actually talking about it, though, it's entirely possible that greenmystik was referring to options available to them, individually. Persons don't generally consider as entertainment options those things they don't like or which they consider somewhat unpleasant compared to otehr options; if greenmystik didn't like e-books (or doesn't want to go through the trouble of a finding and choosing a reader program, or merely doesn't feel like they're the same), it would be perfectly natural to not list them as an alternative.

As it happens, it's probably not a good choice for someone who spends a lot of time at the computer already. Heavy computer use has been liked at this point to a number of health problems in a number of groups.
