Could you survive against a T-800 in the following scenario?

The place: An abandoned town ( big enough for 100,0000 inhabitants)

Both of you are unarmed.

You and the Terminator start at the same place.

You have a head start of 25 minutes before the Terminator begins to chase you. It has 8 hours to get you.

There are no cars or other vehicles in that town.

None of you can leave the town.

How would you try to outsmart it?

And how would the Terminator try to get you?

I think I'd be dead very quickly. Depends on the houses, are they furnished/connected to utilities etc? The notion of switching on the gas in a house, luring the T-800 in and blowing the place up springs to mind, as does potentially trying to bring a house down on it. Both would be tricky, and unlikely to completely destroy it.

Setting fire to houses is another option (just trying to confuse its IR senses) but realistically 8 hours is a looooong time to play tag with an unstoppable killing machine that can see through walls and never gets tired.

To make it more interesting: They are furnished but disconnected. And there is nothing like gasoline, match sticks or other items that can be used to dispatch or damage the Terminator.

Set your firebombs on some kind of timed delay, make sure you keep track of where the T-800 is using binoculars, and then be somewhere he isn't. When the firebomb goes off, he'll come to investigate. He'll waste up to an hour doing that. Then, do it again. You pull a handful of those, you'll keep him busy until the 8-hour deadline passes.

Alternately, lure him to the local wrecking yard, pick him up with the big magnet, and leave him there for the next 8 hours. The OP didn't rule this one out.
