Could we get a Superman show now that "Arrow" will be ending next year?

Another Superman series. Since the more Cavill movies are not happening(yet), I would watch it.

What about Bizaro Superman? Has there ever been a comic series told from his perspective? I think he is a villain but that would also be a fun idea for a show. One told from the bad guys point -of-view.

Sounds like a heretofore undiscovered circle of Hell. A little Bizarro goes a long way.

I doubt they'll go for Superman. Sofar, CW hasn't gone for the obvious heroes to headline shows, except for maybe Flash. Instead of Superman, Supergirl. Instead of Batman, Batwoman. The Legends, for example.
No, if there will be a new CW show besides Batwoman, it's not going to be one of the obvious three: Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman.
I think they're limited in how much they can use Superman, and can't use Batman at all, so they kind of had no choice.

Here you go. And it's not Bizarro Superman, just Bizarro.

Only if the Berlanti group had nothing to do with it. I cannot imagine all that was the best of the Spectre (which was fantastic in his 60s and 70s versions) handled by Berlanti's production company.

My favorite run on the character is probably the nineties version by John Ostrander and Tom Mandrake, but, yeah, the Neal Adams stuff in the sixties and Michael Fleischer's run in the seventies were great, too.

Which would be give us something new compared to what we've had in my lifetime (Reeveverse/Returns, L&C, Smallville, DCEU, Supergirl) how exactly?
You raise an interesting question. Some of the examples you give - Smallville & Supergirl do not deal with the Man of Steel himself. All but one of the remaining examples are films/film series and L & C hails from a different era. This would be a chance to see a weekly Superman series done in the manner of contemporary superhero drama coupled with present day VFX tech. But in truth I just want to see a Superman TV show. I'd love a Batman one as well.

Warners... and by extension CW... seem to be itching to do a Superman show. Except that they seem hellbent on doing shows about Superman that doesn't feature Superman on a regular basis—i.e. Krypton, Supergirl, and the proposed DC streaming series about Lois and Lex.

While Supergirl is mostly about well... Supergirl... the show keeps cramming in Superman's rogue gallery instead of giving the titular character her own villains.

Will we get a Superman show? Possibly. The movie franchise isn't doing anything with him. But I'm not holding my super breath.

I tend to agree that with Supergirl already in play, a Superman show would be redundant. Besides, the version of Superman they've already introduced is pretty much the already established, been everywhere, done everything, silver age/All-Star Superman phase of the character. A show with that version of the character is either *waaaaay* to expensive to do right or just has nowhere left to go.

I also tend to agree that Batwoman is intended to fill Arrow's niche as the "non-super powered, fights bad guys with punches, kicks, gadgets and brains vigilante hero."

That said, if they were to start a new show, they have *way* more interesting possibilities to choose from other than Supes: Zatanna, The Question, Blue Beetle (either or both incarnations), Mister Miracle & Big Barda, Deadman. They could take a page from Krypton's playbook but approach it from the opposite angle with a live action Batman Beyond show, or The Zeta Project. Or they do another team based show and finally pull the trigger on a proper live action Justice League series, JLU Beyond, Legion of Superheroes, Gen13 or The Outsiders.

Hmm, was he in the past? I seem to recall the Green Hornet interacting with Batman.

ETA: The comicbook rights are owned by Dynamite Entertainment rather than DC, but I would argue that the Green Hornet is part of the DC universe.

Gotta disagree. The Green Hornet started out as radio show back in 1930s, not as a comic-book character. And DC has never published a GREEN HORNET series. Granted, he guest-starred on the old BATMAN tv series once, but that was just because both shows had the same network and producer. It was a cross-promotional stunt.

As for the crossover comic . . well, Batman has also done one-shot crossovers, by special arrangement, with Captain America and the Hulk, but I'm not sure anyone would argue that they are part of the DC Universe. :)

You know if that "Brightburn" movie takes off maybe we could see "Supermanish" type of show. The "Orville" of DC. Even follow up on the movie and lets see a a evil Superman type. I mean there is no reason an to be in the Arrowverse. In fact I still think there is some question if "Black Lighting" is in that universe.

There was also a crossover with the Batman TV series but fair enough. I pushed the green theme too far. Next would have probably been the Jolly Green Giant. Too corny by far.

You still could have went with Green Acres. Maybe Superman and Lois move back to Clarks small town home, only in this universe they lived around Pettycoat Junction. Each week Superman and Lois have to deal with the country folk and always crooked Mr Haney trying to get over on them while they want to fix up the ole Kent Farm.

What do you expect them to do? Make up characters out of whole cloth?

The Kara Zor-El version of Supergirl does not have her own pre-existing Rogues Gallery and never has.
