Been learning video editing in prep for baby being due (wife wants lots of baby vids for grandparents abroad).

I posted a Star Trek XI trailer i created in the other forum. Thought i'd post a Transformer 2 trailer i created in here, see what people thought. If you hate it, tell me why, if you like it do the same :).

Welcome to the forums, You did some good work there, the thing that I'm not crazy about is that there's no dialogue at all. Now I'm sure that's due to the fact that all of the dialgue in the trailers has music being it which would make it tough to integrate. It's not a point against the video, just an observation.

There's a point in the Star Trek one around 1:10 where the music moves to a Crescendo, but the visual feed is in between 2 shots when it happens. If you were looking to tighten it up at all, I'd find a way to make it so that when that Crescendo hits, you've got the shot of the torpedo or whatever it is hitting the ship.

What program are you using for this?
