Spoilers Could there be a reveal in the next episode...

Yeah, that's what i think. From what i read i got some Quinn vibes. Didn't the Q in the continuum also read newspapers during "Death Wish"?
It would be unbelievably daft if he is a Q
Why would there be a special Q summoning planet and why would a Q help just cause you go there

Life expectancy was much lower. Rome was a major power, but there were a lot of struggles with power. I believe the Aztecs and Mayans were still in power.
Rome has power in a Papal sense but the roman empire is long gone.

The Norman's invade England in 1066 and Ireland is a mix of Celtic kingdoms in the countryside and Viking settlements in the now cities. That's all I can say for definite without Google

Isn’t the newspaper and it’s headlines the nod to viewers that this is a/the GoF?
It's definitely a nod to the viewers with knowledge of the franchise. That it means more than that will have to wait until next week.

What if he doesn’t just sit on the planet? We don’t have enough canon info on them to know if they are corporeal, omnipresent, etc.

It still means the Q has a special planet that you go to to summon him.

DIS has f****d with enough stupid old Trek plots without dragging Q into things again. Was making them stupid in Voyager not enough

Discovery could only improve the Q after what happened in DS9 and Voyager.

Would've been interesting to see a MU Voyager.

A starship built by the Terran Resistance. On the run from the Alliance, gets lost in the Badlands, sent to the Delta Quadrant, meets a benevolent cybernetic species called the Borg who modify the ship with transwarp capability and send it along with a few Borg Cubes back to the Alpha Quadrant to help with the fight against the Alliance. The Borg Queen becomes the first president of the Resistance/Dominion/Borg Collective federation.

Instead of rehashing that tired plot Voyager gave us its evil side through the incorrect historical records in "living witness"
What we got was much better than the MU
