Could Enterprise be revived?

After the news of Picard coming back and so many Trek projects being in development, I don't think we can rule out a revival or limited reunion project. I really don't know how CBS intends to keep costs down with set creation if they are doing all sorts of things across different elements of the timeline, but if they wanted to do something like the B5 TV movies where it was mostly virtual sets it might make sense.

Buuuuut much as I would really really enjoy a fix-and-proper-sendoff TV movie or three a la Alien Nation, I don't think it'll happen, alas. The business of show feeds on profits, and TNG has a better track record, plus Patrick Stewart. :sigh:

I think a lot of us who liked ENT would enjoy that.

I'd say the odds against it are...astronomical.

I don't think I particularly need Enterprise revived as a full series but I wouldn't say no to some short stories checking back in on past crews. Seeing Archer as an Admiral maybe would be interesting.

After being cancelled twice, Timeless is once again coming back with a two-hour TV movie to wrap up the series. I wouldn't mind if they did this with Enterprise at all. After almost 15 years of understanding exactly what worked and what didn't, it could be rather spectacular.

A year ago, I would've said ENT was done, but with the news of CBS wanting to develop more Trek properties for CBSAA, then maybe it could come back, especially in this era of reboots. Plus, CBS already has Scott Bakula under contract for NCIS: New Orleans.

Yes, it's set at the Founding of the Federation in April 2161 - after the end of the Earth/Romulan War.
Been a while since I saw the episode. Did they come right out and say the Romulan War had been fought and that the war was over and done?

Or is what you said a fan's conjecture?

There was no mention of the war or Romulans. It was like it never happened.

I am convinced more than ever that, if someone made a good pitch to CBS, Ent could come back in some limited series form. There seems to be a real initiative now for Trek content to fill the streaming service.

captain reed? that train has not only left the platform it's already been wrecked

With all these series being announced, there is a small part of me that hopes they go back to the Enterprise Era. We could maybe still see the Romulan Wars. It sounds like CBS wants to cover many areas of the Trek spectrum, and they have many areas they can pick from. Heck, my idea of doing a series between TUC and TNG is still out there.

No Trip
No possible Enterprise
If they somehow, as has been suggested, go with the fake death thing, then it could be a goer
It would be nice to eradicate the bad taste left by TATV
