I guess I could add them. But in all honesty, are they as cool as Martok or Kor or Kang?

What the heck, might as well make it as open a field as possible.

Also Duras and his son Toral, neither of which was cool.

I added B'Elanna. With Martok I've already picked my two favorites. But Klag comes in close. I enjoy novels featuring him.

On a ship full of humans, that's what stands out. If she were on a Klingon ship, she might get called human.

Interesting point.

But it should be HER choice what she wants to be called...whether or not she stands out. Someday we'll have a half human half/alien somebody on show who self identifies as human.

As far as 'cool' it's been a toss up between Martok and Gowron for me.

Cool is defined as the best overall combination and fusion of fighting prowess, leadership, cunning/intellect, honor, and aura of badassery. Note that any one characteristic doesn't have to predominate---it's the best combo. It's still subjective, though. You can pick two.

I'm probably biased. And also disappointed that my bias isn't an option.

Kang and K'Ehleyr. Martok's great , mature, capable , wise . . but too straight-ahead a guy to call "cool"... .

Worf and Kang. They have a similar demeanour. Kor was great in TOS but I didn't like how he was written in DS9. Gowron was always fun. I have a soft spot for the truly villainous Klingons like Chang, Kruge and the Duras family.

He's a Klingon through and through, but he also genuinely cares about people, particularly his crew and his family.

And he still leads attacks personally, even after becoming chancellor.

This is not a fair poll. I mean, seriously!, picking out the coolest Klingon?!

Still, after much deliberation, I have to go with Worf, and for three reasons:

1. He became the first Klingon to ever serve in Starfleet. That took courage.
2. He probably had the greatest growth and development throughout the series. Everyone from Kahless to Martok wanted to associate themselves with him.
3. "Good tea. Nice house."

Worf: "Rest assured, Commander, we will be victorious, at whatever the cost."
Riker: "Worf, it's just a game, a friendly little competition. You work up a sweat, you have a few laughs, and you make new friends."
