Cool and nifty DW links

Ah, yes. I love that little gem. It's been my wallpaper ever since it was released (shortly after the first image of The Eleventh Doctor came out).

My only complaint about it is The Seventh Doctor's costume. I know I'm in the vast minority when I say this, but I love the "?" jumper and I wish it was in this.

That being said, I discovered just the other day that the artist later released two variants of this wallpaper (as you've probably already seen); this is actually one of them because the original which I have, The Seventh Doctor's vest is a plain beige color. The other variant is with The Sixth Doctor in his multi-color dreamcoat outfit and The Seventh Doctor in said "?" jumper. I want to say the one I have, The Tenth Doctor was in a brown suit, too, but I can't be sure (I'm on my work computer right now).

Which reminds me, did the audios ever go into why and when Six switched to the blue coat?

Good question. I can't answer the first as I've only heard a few of the audios. It might be possible to work it out if you look at the covers for the Big Finish range and flag when the Sixth Doctor first appears in blue. He also wears blue in the BBC webcast animated version of Real Time (which gives it a stronger-than-usual case for being canon as it was something actually "broadcast" by the BBC in some capacity, just like the Paul McGann-Sheridan Smith Eighth Doctor radio series for BBC7). Since Evelyn Smythe is his companion in Real Time, that gives a starting point at least - as I understand it the Smythe stories take place after Trial of a Time Lord and before the Doctor "officially" meets Mel for the first time.
