Contacts for Jim Morvay / Astristech & Owen E Oulton / ColdNorth - plus a concern over link rot..

Hi all,

Firstly, I'm looking for the Jim Morvay / Astristech Design Group Ambassador Class USS Meitner blueprints + deckplans. Jim posted these a decade ago on scifi-meshes. and his now-deleted DeviantArt account, but unfortunately only the perspective views and Decks 4, 5, and 6 of the blueprints survive. Did anyone see fit to save the rest of them before they were lost, or know how I can contact Jim himself?

Secondly, I am also looking for the contact details of Owen E Oulton who is well known for his M20 deckplans on his ColdNorth website. Two years ago on Tapatalk he mentioned he had been commissioned to produce some Excelsior Class deck plans - anyone know if these were completed? I also note that ColdNorth is now a mostly broken website (it suffered a major data outage a couple of years ago) and I would really like to contact Owen to see if we can get his fantastic designs backed up somewhere (maybe Cygnus-X1?).

I suppose that neatly leads onto my third point which is I've noticed that link rot has begun to really set in, especially on the old Trek art-focused Forums such as Subspace Comms Network, Treknographics, Flare Sci-fi Forums, Scifi Meshes, etc... most people hosted on Photobucket or Imageshack, both of which are mostly gone nowadays, and I dread to think what the next few years will do. We're loosing some incredible designs and art and it's genuinely really sad. I save to my local PC what I can (I think this is okay copyright-wise..?) but I was wondering if anyone else had thought of archiving for long-term posterity?

I know that Owen lived in/visited Ottawa regularly. Will ask around to see if he's still active.

And here I am, thinking anything on the internet stays on the internet...
SCN really is dead, Bernd did some stuff on facebook but its art forum contents really are gone. SFM had some outage as well some time ago, which didn't help. I don't have a lot on my hard drive but if you're searching for anything specific, maybe I have it.
