My original idea - inspired by your Space Invaders picture - was a program based on the old Atari game "Pitfall". Mario also crossed my mind.

I like the idea of playing Sonic.
Frogger would work, too. We could have little holo-Chakotays driving the cars. Plenty dangerous for our player to cross the road then.
Sonic would be good. Maybe the holographic background could move as you ran to make it seem like you were running really fast.
We'll want to do something with the artificial gravity, too, so we can do those loop-de-loops. For sure!
