Concept Wip 42.33935b

My first pass at rear sensor pallets. At least, that's what I'm calling the detail in the undercut.

I like that better... not sure about the exposed end of the ribs, though. Were you going to put some kind of trim over it? That'd make it smooth on the outside, but detailed on the inside.

:)

^Yeah, will most probably cap those. Did a little work on the main deflector. You can also get a better look at the underside of the primary hull. That ring in the hull is modeled in even though it looks painted on. Not sure how to get it to look like it has dimension at this point. Colors are definitely not final.

I still think the best part in this view is how the neck is brought together with the primary hull. It came out very well IMHO.

Decided to play with a bridge concept for the ship. Here's a very rough sketch. The rust red panels are door locations. The large orange wall will be a status display with foldout seating under it for guests.

I like where you're going with this bridge. Somebody's probably going to charge in the thread and be like "assymetrical! argh, something that's different from what's onscreen! warglblargl!", but they just don't grok it, man.

It has a good command center vibe to it.

I kinda like the bridge concept here. I'd like to see how the CO's sight-lines to each station work out, but It looks promising to me. Good sense of style and originality.

Not to tall at all. The bottom of the saucer has a perfect TOS/TMP hybrid mix to it as well.
The bridge is well thought out.
