I have to say, I never realised Tegan was so popular. I thought fandom hated her? I mean, I sure don't hate her (second favourite after Donna) but has the internet lied to me again?

lets be honest this Hurt/Heal descended into farce when Rose & Captain Jack were voted off.

I will not be taking the results of this poll seriously.
 
^The farce began when Martha came last. I mean, come on! She's nothing like THAT bad!

Tegan is a thousand times better than Rose. Jack is *Doctor* wrong.

I agree, how anyone could go out before Adam I have no idea.

then again this is just a "game" and represents the views of Who fans on TrekBBS, its not a wide polling of Doctor Who fans, in a serious debate on which companion is best.

Yeah, the game is definitely skewed, just like all of the other Hurt/Heal games. What usually happens is the most hated (if only by a few people) are taken out early, followed by the generally disliked, then the unknowns (in this case, Katarina, Sara Kingdom, and most of the other early companions), followed by a battle of the remaining competitors. That's why The Eighth Doctor got in the top five in The Doctor game. People were focused on the ones they didn't like first, while focus on the most popular. Most people are just indifferent to The Eighth Doctor.

As for Tegan, I think you'll find most of those Heals are from Starkers (not I don't disagree with him). ;)
