Commando (British WWII comic book)

I have been thinking of ordering this comic book.
I used the read the Finnish version of it some years back..and though it would be fun to order now the orginal English version.
These days you get 8 issues a month(4 new and 4 classic re-prints)

To those who dont know the comic, here is some info for you, including the official site:

The stories are mostly related to WWII but there are some stories that are set to Vietnam war, WWI..and so on.
All in all, great entertainment to those who enjoy war/adventure stories

I grew up on those - great stuff. Dunno how they'd hold up today, but I wouldn't mind writing some...

used to read them too. you can also buy collected versions.

I still see them in the shops, Smith's I think. I have never read them, but I did always think they looked interesting.

Yeah I grew up on them as well. I used to love Starblazers more though, and I liked the football ones (goal on every page!). Quite a lot of famous comic writers cut their teeth on these back in the day.

I have read some of the new ones and they're ok. I still have a couple of hundred Starblazers and footy comics in a box in my spare room and go back to them periodically!
