That looks exactly like the theatre back in my home town. I was excited that the picture might have been taken there until I realized that all Regal Cinemas built during that period probably look about the same.

Looks nice...it is cardboard right? looks almost like real metal.

We get a lot of promotional stuff at the the theaters here in Taiwan (that made it sound like I work at a theater, I don't) and I we sometimes get the same kind of standees but in Chinese. I wonder if they'll be able to do that thing justice.

Couldn't help but notice that Spock and McCoy were in different r's in each photo.I guess you have to assemble that massive sign when it gets shipped to you.Would be really easy to fit into the truck of your automobile then.

Reminds me of the shiny, glossy cardboard standup that came out in late 2004 when the Original SW Trilogy first came out on DVD. They did this awesome, almost life-size standee of Vader holding his lightsaber and ready to duel with a silvery gloss to the SW logo and everything else. I have it.

This is actually a major plot point and cross-over with the DCU. All of the crew gets trapped in the Phantom Zone at the end of the movie.

I like it, but It's just a bit ''much'' to keep it in my house. However that doesn't mean I won't try and snag one of these at my local theater( if they have one) and put it on ebay!

The dancing hot dog and bucket of popcorn were CLEARLY from Alpha Centauri in the original timeline. Abrams f'd this up too.
