Comics are such a pain in the ass...

I like Wolverines commentary on Princess Powerful... "198 mutants left on the planet, but SHE keeps her powers?!"

The biggest pain for me is the price and Marvel's love affair with the 3.99 price point, that has turned me into a trade waiter at least for Marvel.

i have to disagree.

Comics are a lot more fun if you have the surplus thousands and thousands of dollars spared up from the necessities, to be a completest every week.

Or if there was some where where all the comics could be found for free.

Y'know.

The library.
I have to disagree because the library doesn't carry all the comics, only select ones.

I practically live in the third world... Almost the fourth world.

And our libraries have just about everything.

When I worked at a comic store, the (many, many, many) regional librarians would show up once a year with their multithousand dollar endowment from the state and lay into the store to take advantage of a thirty percent discount incentive they were offered.

Your libraries are not working the system, and neither are your comicbook stores.

however, I was obviously talking about torrents, and then deflected, because we're not supposed to talk about those things here in detail.

Not every library can say that regardless of where you are in the world, so you either accept the selection they have or go someplace else that has the title(s) you want if they don't carry it.

Like the internet?

I just finished watching 3 seasons of the John Larroquette Show, so I know that St Louis is a cultural wasteland where police have trouble even tracking down stray elephants

Have you ever downloaded a comic book?

Like the internet?
Like a comic book shop (there are even ones that will ship stuff to you if there isn't one in your area).

Um, you do know that was a TV comedy series and wasn't real, right?
