Comic Con highlights for Doctor Who and Sara Jane

So is Timothy Dalton going to be in this episode? Here's hoping.
IMDB says he is.

That in and of itself means nothing. IMDB is the Wikipedia of movie and tv info. ;)

There's also a picture somewhere (I saw it at OG) of Dalton, Tennant, and Simm standing together, so it appears that he's in it.

And in costume, too. The costume
definitely appears to be Gallifreyan in nature.

The Dalton appearance (thanks to those who answered my query, btw) continues a small list of Dr Who - James Bond connections:

- A pre-007 Sean Connnery and pre-DW William Hartnell appeared in a 1950s movie called Hell Drivers, which also features David McCallum (The Man From UNCLE) and Patrick McGoohan (The Prisoner);

- In 1986, Timothy Dalton and Sly McCoy were onstage together in a play. Apparently both were bemoaning the state of their careers during one conversation one night. Within a year, one had landed the role of Bond, the other the role of The Doctor (then again, by 1989, both franchises were in a hiatus ... oh dear);

- Gritty and acclaimed Northern drama Our Friends in The North featured a pre-DW Chris Eccleston and a pre-Bond Daniel Craig in leading roles;

- A post DW Tom Baker appeared in Remington Steele opposite a pre-007 Pierce Brosnan;

- Colin Salmon, Charles Robinson in the Brosnan Bond movies, was in a David Tennant ep of DW;

- The Children in Need 'Curse of The Fatal Death' DW special featured Joanna Lumley (On Her Majesty's Secret Service) and Rowan Atkinson (Never Say Never Again) as incarnations of the Doctor, while Jonathan Pryce (Tomorrow Never Dies) was The Master.

^ And, while not actor related, there was that bit in "The Lazarus Effect" when Martha mentioned that the Doctor looked good in the tux, in a James Bond sort of way.

That picture of Dalton is floating around in one of the Doctor Who threads here on TRekBBS. They need to bring the Rani back. Last we saw she was out running around the universe and at least on screen Romana was trapped in E-Space, I know some of the books made her President of Gallifrey.

You could also include Jason Connery (son of Sean who played Ian Flemming in Spymaker: The Secret Life of Ian Flemming.) in Vengeance on Varos.

Lucy is really Romana. The Master found her on Earth and fobbed her (snicker), then brainwashed her into being his faithful companion...the ultimate perversion of all things "Doctor."
