I could not recall this being discussed recently and didn't think to look in the QS&F forum, sorry, so I hope that these aren't that close together in terms of inquiry.

Well, at least as far as the thread I startred is concerned, that was quite some time ago. Over five years! Interestingly, Captain Craig, you chimed in on that thread as saying that you didn't see the need for such a forum.

Post-Marvel Studios film production I've seen a shift in interest AND continual projects to follow. An interesting observation though for sure.

Should a movie review for Oblivion go in Sci-fi, or should it go in TV? What about the fact that it was based on a graphic novel?

Not to mention the graphic novels/comic books that are not
SF&F in content. A thread about Persepolis, which would normally go in TV&Media, would now go to a SF&F subforum.
