Comedy Central renews Futurama: 26 eps!

I have been reading Futurama has been picked up for 13 more episodes (whatever season they decide to call it) with an optional 13 more, and not an outright 26 episodes.

Have we gotten official world from Fox yet?

No official word from Comedy Central yet, but this is on top of the 13 episodes that are already scheduled to air this summer.

Yeah I know that. Gotfuturama.com got word of 13 episodes with one of the actors and he said the new order is for 13 episodes with an option for 13 more.

Watched it the first night they premiered the new episodes. Me and the wife, who are both big fans, were severely disappointed with it and haven't watched any new episodes since.

I mentioned it earlier in the thread, but check out "The Late Philip J. Fry". It, "Lethal Inspection" and "The Prisoner of Benda" all rank amongst classic Futurama, IMO, and most of the rest of the season was better than the first three or four episodes.
