I love purple, especially the darker shades. Then again, but preference is between TARDIS blue and purple. I'll pay extra to get gadgets or thumbdrives in those shades.

I used to love to wear purple when there wasn't a lot of it around, but it's become much more popular in recent years. Plus, here in Baltimore, it seems like everything is Ravens purple half the year. Too much, too much, too much. I can't stand it!

Purple Haze?

My Strat is a classical black with a maple neck, ebony picks. (and I wear white underwear)

My current apartment is painted all white (cheapest and easiest to renovate) but I have a different colour scheme with the carpets and curtains in every room. A warm red & cream for the living room, soothing blue for the bedroom, light blue & grey for the study, a sunny yellow for the corridor since that's on the dark northern side of the building. My furniture is made of fir and birch wood, most floors are fir or beech.

Now in my house I have one wall in every room painted in a different colour, while the all the others are white. It's a good compromise, and it looks fantastic.

I did something similar in my house, using the accent walls and elements of furniture: yellow for the kitchen, red for the living room, green for the main bedroom and blue for the other. The corridor is still all white, tho.

the previous tenant had painted the study with 4 accent walls: pea-green, purple, orange and blue. If he wasn't color blind before, he must have been by the time he moved out, lol.
