Whoa... wait. Is he gonna actually BE The Doctor or is he just an actor on the show???
We can only hope it is the former.
Maybe I can say it here instead of the Fan Productions forum without getting jumped on....but after seeing "Mind Sifter," the 4th episode of ST Continues can't come fast enough. The Phase II guys have been at it longer, but their product is so inferior in comparison (except for the visual effects, which are top notch) it's "mind" boggling. Mind Sifter was a struggle to watch. Their new Kirk actually made me wish for the return of James Cawley (who I once described as "woefully miscast" as Kirk but compared to Brian Gross he's amazing). And their new McCoy is horrible.
ST Continues has improved from episode-to-episode, and by now is a surprisingly polished product. With Phase II you never really know what you're gonna get. The previous episodes were better than this much-hyped Mind Sifter mess. Even the early ones. Brandon Stacy as Spock, the cool new admiral's uniform, and the VFX were the only good things about it.

Unfortunately for him, then, this is not a paying job. But Colin is certainly no "Stranger" to acting in fan films.Colin is a bit like Bill Shatner: there's no paying job that he will so "no" too.
I'm positive this will not be a Doctor Who crossover; that's not the sort of thing STC tries to do. They've had Lou Ferrigno on and (though wearing green makeup) he certainly wasn't the Hulk.
As is much remarked-on in threads discussing former actors reprising their roles as the Doctor, Colin is much-changed from his days in the TARDIS and is unlikely to persuade as the Sixth Doctor nowadays (unless his altered appearance was explained as part of the story).
