Cold Case 10/18/09 Missing in NYC

OK, here in the NYC area football coverage went 1 hr and 15 min over. It was announced that the usual evening line up would follow. At the end of Three Rivers it said the Cold Case would follow. However the local news started instead, which was then followed with usual late night local programming. I've logged a complaint thru NY CBS website and I also called and left a voicemail.

Aren't network affiliates obligated to show the network show at another time if they pre-empt it for local coverage? I know that the local CW station does so with Smallville. The problem is how do we find out.

I'm curious if other areas outside NYC aired Cold Case?

I remember the announcers saying during the game that Cold Case would not air tonight. And it didn't here. Maybe it did on the West Coast.

I wasn't watching the actual game, just monitoring it on another TV to see when it would end. Saw only the usual that the evening's programs would follow.


It seems that other parts of the country that didn't have a game Cold Case started on time but it was a rerun.
